Purpose of the Job:
This position is to manage the Site Sourcing Specialists team and the purchasing activities and standard work related to their scope according to the actual Roles and Responsibilities matrix.
Position in the Organization:
Company and Location: Wabtec Pilsen
Direct Report: Sourcing Director
Functions Reporting Directly to Him/Her: Site Sourcing Specialist
How will you make a difference and can help the company to develop?
- Leadership and daily management with the team
- Supplier performance monitoring, reporting, and development. Owner of TOP WORST process, participates in SUPPLIER CRITICAL process.
- Cooperation with EMEA commodity team on key projects (panel management, resourcing, savings projects).
- Data consolidation for the annual budget from Site team, Project Savings Tracker inputs
- Optimization of the site supplier panel.
- Implementation of strategies leading to cash improvement (consignment stocks, payment terms, batches optimization)
- Leadership on material costs optimization and contracts negotiation under site sourcing responsibility
- Supports Supply Chain and Quality team within escalation process.
Main Competences / Field of Action:
- Representing the company for negotiation with third parties in line with actual Site Sourcing responsibilities
- Negotiate commercial conditions with the suppliers
- Management of the team
What do we want to know about you?
- Minimum secondary school (economics/technical)
- Experience within sourcing department and from manufacturing company 7+years
- Experience with leading the team
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- PC skills (MS Office)
- Communication skills and negotiation skills
