FAIVELEY TRANSPORT CZECH a.s., is the part of the Wabtec Corporation, which after merging with the French company Faiveley Transport in 2016 and the American company GE Transportation in 2019 became the largest manufacturer of components for the railway and transit industry. We are proud to deliver products for major transportation projects worldwide as pantographs, electro -mechanical switches, couplers, brakes, trolleybus collectors.

Who will you be working with?

As a part of Sales team, you will be in charge of covering the billing and outgoing customs duty process within the Sales Administration within the Supply Chain Department of the company.

How will you make a difference?

  • Prepare and manage all customs documents before shipping.
  • Issue invoice when revenue recognition conditions (based on applicable GAAP) are fulfilled and in line with local legislation, including law on VAT and corporate income tax.
  • Send invoices to customers contact – Invoice department.
  • Solve issue regarding wrong invoice.
  • Send reminders to customer and other actions to collect the cash and solve overdue (with support of project manager and finance department, when needed).
  • Responsible for archiving activity for SC department.
  • Participate to the continuous improvement plan of the company
  • Report periodically to his manager / SA progress of his work
  • Participate as required to the Corporate Activities

What do we want to know about you?

  • Min secondary school (economics/technical)
  • At least 3 years experience from customer service /sales / supply chain / logistics field
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) other language is advantage (German, French)
  • PC skills (MS Office)
  • Communication skills and negotiation skills, able to solve and analyze daily issues
