CAD Engineer - Product Development
We are looking for a CAD Engineer to join our team at our location in Plzen, Czech Republic.You will be the link between the European engineering departments and the manufacturing facility in FTCZ.
How can you contribute to the change and development of our company?
- Monitoring and control of the product quality of all components of the coupler and coupler components.
- As a result of monitoring and control, establish a suggestion system for product improvement in the direction of European engineering.
- Monitoring, control and continuous improvement of the industrialization process.
- Systematic and continuous product analysis to optimize product quality.
- Specialist tasks as well as planning and support of tests and sub-projects in collaboration with product engineering, quality, purchasing and development.
- Reporting, planning and monitoring of work in the area of activity.
- Acceptance and support with error assessment, documentation and initiation of suitable corrective measures.
- Technical support from Product Engineering Europe / PL.
- Technical support for manufacturing and quality assurance in FTCZ
- Support in implementing changes (ECR/PCR)
- Maintenance of drawings from numbering to CAD data to archiving and distribution.
What do we want to know about you?
Would be great, if you have:
- Bachelor, Master degree in the technical field
- Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering design or in the rail vehicle industry
- Fluent English and Czech language – ability to present and describe technical issues
- Experience with 5.3D CAD (Solid Works), modeling of 3D components and creation of drawings
- Microsoft Office – standard user knowledge, advanced user welcome
- Ability to work independently and across the different sites
- Highly motivated and used to proactively solve issues
